Dusty Baker continues to say that he would love to add center fielder Kenny Lofton to the Cincinnati Reds roster.  In order to do that however, they would have to make a trade or release one of the players that is currently on their 40-man roster.  Lofton only wants to sign a guranteed major league contract.

Lofton would be a good for Baker and the Reds in my opinion.  Lofton has played under Baker before in Chicago so they are definately familar with each other.  I think it would be a good move, the question is how can management make it work?

The Cincinnati Enquirer is reporting that the Reds and Josh Fogg along with his agent have had some talks recently about Fogg signing with the Cincinnati Reds.  Reports are saying that Fogg is looking for a two or three year deal around $5 million per season.

If you ask me, I think $5 million per season is way to expensive for Fogg.  Sure he is a veteran, but he only went 10-9 with the Colorado Rockies last season with a 4.94 ERA.  If the deal were more in the 2-2.5 million then it would be a lot better.  $5 million for Fogg is asking a lot on his part in my opinion.  What do you think?  Leave a comment and let your opinion be heard!
