Spring training; these two words have a lot of meaning in my mind and in my heart. It means this cold snowy weather will soon cease, bringing in the long lazy days of summer; hot dogs, cookouts, pool parties and BASEBALL. I can still remember as a young boy, my father and I going to downtown Cincinnati to see the Cincinnati Reds "Big Red Machine" play at Riverfront Stadium. The smells intoxicating; peanuts, hotdogs, and popcorn filled the air.
